We will be collecting used soccer clothing/equipment for the needy at registration. Please do your best to register your children on time. The last several years we were able to distribute rosters well before the end of August. As we anticipate having over 2300 children in the program, we will continue our firm policy regarding late registration: a late fee of $50 per family will be charged after April 17thth.We cannot guarantee late registrants a spot on a team. The wait list will be on a first-come-first-served basis. . PLEASE REGISTER ON TIME! COMPLETING REGISTRATION ON ONE OF THE DATES NOTED ABOVE GUARANTEES YOUR CHILD WILL PLAY SOCCER IN THE FALL! In-Town Program: There will be eight games for grades 3-12; nine games for grades 1-2. The season begins the weekend of September 6th. Regular season play is also scheduled for two Sundays. The Phil Carpini Memorial Cup Tournament, for Grades 3-12, will be held on October 25-26th. (NOTE: NO PLAYER WHO IS TRAVEL-CARDED IN NJ CAN PLAY IN THE INTOWN PROGRAM).KinderKickers: Pre-K and K. Eight (8) Saturday morning sessions (3 time slots) beginning September 6th. You may request that your child be placed together with other children of the same age and we will try to accommodate you. Co-Ed: High school, grades 10-12. Same rules apply as the rest of the In-Town program. Travel: Please Select Travel program button for an overview of the Travel Program and tryout dates. A Note about Team Formations: For FIRST GRADE ONLY, we will attempt to accommodate ONE mutual request for non-coaches. For all other programs, we use player evaluations and a sophisticated computer program to make the teams competitively balanced; therefore, NO REQUESTS WILL BE GRANTED FOR SECOND GRADE AND ABOVE! You may request to coach with another individual (or two) at any level. We will attempt to accommodate these requests. Our policies are designed to make the overall soccer experience as enjoyable and fair as possible for all of our players and coaching volunteers. These policies have been refined and developed over many years and are designed to balance a desire to make our youngest players comfortable with their initial soccer experience, allow our “experienced” players to participate in a competitively balanced program, and to develop new and lasting friendships. Soccer Camps: The Spring Soccer Camp begins on April 21st and a 5-day Summer Camp will be held beginning August 18th. Visit us on the internet at www.lsclub.com The site contains information about all the Club’s programs as well as news, dates, schedules, standings, policies, rules, and regulations. We need YOU to volunteer! The Livingston Soccer Club is 100% community driven, which means that we all have real jobs like you. Your energy and time help make the LSC the largest and most popular youth program in Livingston. For the novice and experienced coaches alike, we provide coaching clinics run by professional trainers from Ashley’s Soccer Camp as well as Coaching Strategy Sessions run by experienced Board members. Please volunteer today! Yours in Soccer, Andy
